Julia & Mark Taylor

Julia and Mark Taylor have been married for 25 years. They have 2 sons currently in college, one at the University of KY and one at Clemson University. 

Julia grew up in Glasgow, KY and graduated from the University of Kentucky. She became a CPA and worked in public and private accounting for 10 years before choosing to stay home with their boys. Julia converted to Catholicism in 1997. She has served on numerous boards within the Catholic Diocese of Lexington Kentucky and currently serves as a Board member of the Catholic Education Opportunities Foundation.  

Mark is a cradle Catholic and the youngest of 8 children. He is a graduate of Lexington Catholic High School and Clemson University, and is President and CEO of Taylor Made Farm, a family owned Thoroughbred horse farm where he works alongside three of his brothers. Together they have built Taylor Made into the worldwide leader in thoroughbred sales and marketing having sold $2.8 billion of thoroughbred horses. Mark has served on numerous Catholic and Equine industry boards and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington as well as the Thoroughbred Consignors and Breeders Association.
