Welcome back to Best Advent Ever. One of the beautiful lessons that Slowing Down the Speed of Joy teaches us, one of the beautiful lessons that the Sabbath teaches us, is that there is such a thing as enough. Our world doesn't believe that. Our culture doesn't believe that. Our culture thinks the answer is always more. God believes the answer is enough. Enough is a beautiful word. It's a soul-captivating word. It's time to trade our excess for enough. Enough signifies balance, harmony, sufficiency, and contentment. It symbolizes the state between lack and excess. One of the primary reasons we don't slow down is because we don't think we have enough.
One of the main reasons we are excessively busy is because we don't think we are enough. Knowing that you have enough and knowing that you are enough here, now, today is essential to slowing down to the speed of joy. Live in the wisdom of enough. Slowing down to the speed of joy gets easier the more we realize we have enough and that we are enough. Contentment is a beautiful thing. It's a gift that God wants to give you, especially on the Sabbath. Contentment to realize we have enough. We might not have enough for tomorrow or the next day or next year or whatever. But for today, we have enough. We are enough. That's a beautiful realization just to sit in, just to sit in that, to reflect on that. Joy erupts within us when we allow an experience to touch the very depths of our soul. Allow contentment, allow the wisdom of enough to touch the very depths of your soul. Just take five minutes today, sit somewhere quiet, and allow contentment and the wisdom of enough to really reach down and touch the very depths of your soul.
At Dynamic Catholic, we've decided to develop a K-12 religious education curriculum. The Catholic moments have been tremendously successful. The Confirmation Program and the Marriage Prep Program, the Baptism Program, First Communion, First Reconciliation, these programs have been incredibly impactful for millions of people's lives. But the thing that we've heard over and over again is: give us a full curriculum. Build a full curriculum. We need a better curriculum. Everybody knows that we need to do something different going forward than we have in the past, around teaching Catholics about the genius of Catholicism. Over the last 30 years, 50 million Catholics have left the church here in the United States. One thing is very clear to me is that they have no idea what they left behind. Absolutely no idea, clueless. And that's on us. That's on us because we didn't teach them about the genius of Catholicism. We didn't engage them in a real conversation about the biggest issues in life. We didn't teach them how to apply the genius of Catholicism to each and every aspect of their lives.
And I have to say that I am incredibly excited to jump in and develop this K-12 curriculum and to share it with the world. I want you to help us with that. So become a member of the Ambassadors Club today. Pick your Welcome Gift. Join us in this incredible mission. We're constantly—over and over again, we're trying to develop game changers for Catholics, for the parishes, for the whole church. God bless you, have a great day. And remember, Be Bold and Be Catholic.
Thank you, Ambassadors. You are changing the world. See you tomorrow.
