Take heed then how you hear; for to him who has will more be given, and from him who has not, even what he thinks that he has will be taken away.”

How Bright is Your Light?
What is it that jumps out at you today? Remember each day we're looking for a word or a phrase or an idea that the Holy Spirit uses to intrigue our imagination or capture our attention or draw our hearts towards something. The word for me today is just very simple. It's light. The gospel is light. God's grace is light. Jesus is light. And we're called to be light in the world. How bright is your light? How bright is your light? And if you're a lighthouse keeper, you got to make sure that that light keeps burning bright. You got to clean the windows. If the windows get all dusty and dirty, then that affects the light getting out into the world.
So that's the question I lay before you today is like how bright is your light and what helps your light to grow stronger? What helps your light to grow stronger? And do you need to clean the windows of your lighthouse? And if you don't know what helps your light to go stronger, how are you going to find out? Where are you going to look? Who are you going to turn to? Who can help you with that? We're sent out into the world as light. And the world wants to stamp your light out. The world wants to stamp your light out, and we can't let that happen. We need to be constantly looking for ways to clean the windows of our lighthouse and to build the light up within us so that we can become a great light in the world. God bless you. Have a great day.
