Heavenly Father,

as the day begins,

I place my heart, my work,

and my sufferings today at the foot of the Cross.

Guide my steps, calm my mind,

and let everything I do be for Your greater glory.

Grant me the grace to be a holy instrument of Your peace today.

Amen.

Jesus,

give me the courage to face my fears head-on.

Help me to trust in your love for me.

Remind me that you are always close by,

even when I feel alone and am overwhelmed.

Teach me to seek your presence whenever I am fearful.

Help me to see moments of fear as opportunities to trust in you.

I entrust my fears to you, Jesus,

knowing that you hold me safely in the palm of your hand.

Jesus,

bring your peace into my heart and mind.

Help me to recognize what lays outside of my control,

and how trying to control it may be contributing to my anxiety.

Remind me that some matters lie in your loving hands,

and not my own.

Jesus,

you have taught us that worrying adds nothing to our lives.

Today, I surrender all these worries to you.

Be my strength as I manage my anxiety,

one day at a time,

one situation at a time,

one moment at a time.

Amen.

Time and time again,

I’ve tried to break free through my own willpower,

only to stumble and fall.

Today, I come before you, Jesus,

with a heart full of surrender.

I choose to make You the center of my life.

Fill the void that my dependencies have created,

so that my heart desires you above all else.

Teach me to turn to you in prayer,

whenever temptations come my way.

Ultimately, help me to trust you a little more each day.

Amen.

Holy Spirit, Giver of Wisdom,

I invite you into this decision-making process,

and ask that you give me clarity.

Grant me the wisdom to navigate this decision,

give me the courage to be honest with myself.

Amen.

Jesus, Give us the strength to serve and sacrifice for one another selflessly.

Give us the courage to address problems before they grow larger.

Give us the wisdom to seek understanding before making judgments.

Give us the patience to bear with one another’s faults.

Give us the love to grow closer to one another each day,

and closer to you.

Amen.

Jesus, come dwell within my family.

Fill our hearts with patience, understanding, joy, kindness and love.

You have a dream for our family that will make it flourish like never before.

Lead us toward that dream a little more each day.

Amen.

Heavenly Father,

You are the giver of every good gift and the source of all life.

Thank You for all the ways you bless me—

those that I am aware of and those that I am unaware of.

As the day draws to a close,

help me to accept the invitation of your Son, Jesus, who said:

"Come to me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest."

Open my heart to the gift of Your peace

and draw me nearer to You than ever before,

that I may find rest in You tonight.
