Divine Mercy is–
Generous.
Hopeful.
Powerful.
Compassionate.
Glorious.
I am–
A pilgrim of mercy.
Imagine a world without mercy. Do you want to live in a society without mercy? I know I don't, and I don't want my children to grow up into a world without mercy and second chances. But that's where our culture is headed. Cancel culture. An individual says or does something that the pack considers unacceptable, and that person is judged, criticized, fired from their job, and incessantly harassed on social media. There's no due process. There is no redemption, no chance to apologize and change your ways, no forgiveness, no second chances, and absolutely no mercy. Mercy is essential if we are to learn to love each other again. There is no love without forgiveness, and without mercy all relationships will eventually fail. No culture or society can thrive without mercy. The more our culture abandons Christianity, the more toxic and dysfunctional it becomes, and the world with no forgiveness would be a very toxic world indeed. Our culture is aching for mercy. Our fractured relationships, the division and polarization within society, rising mental health challenges, extreme poverty, consumerism and self-centeredness, godlessness, increasing violence and crime are all calling out for mercy. The need for God's mercy is more urgent than ever. We have made remarkable advancements in technology and science and communications, and yet, we are struggling with moral and ethical ambiguity, social disintegration, and spiritual confusion. We need to stop looking for worldly solutions to spiritual problems. The problem society faces at this time will only be solved with the right balance of worldly solutions and spiritual solutions, and mercy is an essential ingredient. It's time to imagine a culture where mercy is embraced as the cultural norm. It's time to open our hearts to the mercy God yearns to fill us with. Are you willing to become an instrument of God's mercy?
50 million American Catholics have stopped going to mass over the past 30 years. If you think that is sad and tragic, I'm right there with you. If you think they have no idea what they are missing out on, I'm right there with you. And if you wish we could change that for future generations, our children, and our grandchildren, I'm right there with you. Dynamic Catholic is incredibly excited to announce that we're creating a game-changing program that will transform the way Catholics, young and old, experience the mass forever. Nobody who experiences this program will ever say mass is boring ever again. Help us eradicate, "Mass is boring," from the Catholic vernacular. Click the button below. Choose your welcome gift and become a Dynamic Catholic ambassador today. Have a great day and remember, be bold, be Catholic.
Eternal God–
In whom mercy is endless–
And the treasury of compassion inexhaustible–
Look kindly upon us–
And increase your mercy in us–
That in difficult moments–
We might not despair–
Nor become despondent–
But with great confidence–
Submit ourselves to your holy will–
Which is love and mercy itself.
Amen.
Amen.
Amen.
See you tomorrow.
Thank you, Ambassadors.
You are changing the world.
Have a great day.
Have a great day.
Have a great day!
Hey, Ralph, one of the best ways to be a pilgrim of mercy is to collaborate with God to create holy moments. So I figured while we have a couple of minutes, you could inspire our audience. So tell me, what is today's Holy Moment Challenge?
It is, "Tell God what you're most grateful for today.”
